Wesley Allen Johnston

Wesley Allen Johnston   Wesley Allen Johnston, 54, of Wharton, TX passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 6, 1964, in Texas City, Texas to parents, Dennis Johnston and Donna deLooper Muhlhausen.  Wesley was raised in Wharton and graduated from Wharton High School with the class of 1984.  He also lived for many years in the Houston and Katy areas.  He worked as Vice President of Muhl Tech, manufacturing baseball equipment.  Wesley enjoyed sports, either watching on TV or coaching his children and their baseball and volleyball teams.  He truly cared for his players and it showed through his dedication to making them better.  He loved riding his motorcycle and traveling to foreign countries to ride and view the countryside and mountains. He was also known as an animal lover.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Barker. Wesley is survived by his son, Cameron Johnston of Houston, daughter Marissa Johnston of Spring, the mother of his children, Carolyn Johnston, Mother, Donna Muhlhausen and husband, Ben of Wharton, Father, Dennis Johnston and wife, Janie of Temple, sister, Dana Dahlan of New Braunfels, brother, Nathan Muhlhausen and wife, Carrie of Wharton, and numerous nieces and nephews.             Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October November 3, 2018 at 2pm at the chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Michael Limas officiating.  Reception to follow at Grace Community Fellowship, 1900 E.
