Victor Samora Sr.

Victor Samora Sr., a beloved father, husband, brother, and son, passed away on September 5, 2025, at a hospital in Houston, Texas. Born on January 5, 1969, in Wharton, Texas, Victor devoted his life to his family, his profession as an electrician and contractor, and the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing. He was known for his unwavering commitment to those he loved and his fondness for his dogs, which brought him much joy.

Victor leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his devoted mother, Elma Trevino Samora; his loving wife, Melba Garza; and his pride and joy, his son, Victor Samora Jr. He will be dearly missed by his brother, Johnny Samora Jr., as well as his cherished nephew, Zack Garcia, and wife Christina. Moreover, Victor’s legacy will continue through his great-niece, Giselle Garcia, and great-nephews, Zachary Garcia Jr. and Tristan Garcia, each of whom brought light into his life.

Victor's love for his family was evident in everything he did, and his laughter and kindness will resound in the hearts of those who knew him. His dedication to his work reflected his strong character and determination, traits that inspired those around him.

The services honoring Victor will take place on September 17, 2025, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Wharton. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park at 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Victor Samora Jr., Zachary Garcia, Johnny Samora, Alex Garcia, Bobby Garcia and James Rodriguez

Though he is no longer with us, the memories of Victor Samora Sr. will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that continues to shine.
