Ronnie Stavena

Ronnie Stavena, age 74, of Wharton, TX went home to the Lord February 8, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Wharton on October 3, 1946 to the late Walter and Nelga Stavena.

He married the love of his life Honey Korenek Stavena, on January 28, 1972 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nada, TX.  They have been happily married for 49 years.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Honey Stavena, his devoted son, Jason and wife Lauren of San Marcos, his sister, Dee Ann Viktorin of Wharton, and two nieces Brooke and Christie.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, his infant son, and his two brothers Chris and Darryl.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Saturday February 13, 2021 at Holy Family Church, 2011 Briar Ln. Wharton, TX starting at 9:00 AM.  Rosary will begin at 9:30 A.M. and Funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at the Stavena Family Cemetery in Weimar at 2:00 P.M.

The family has requested no flowers to be sent, instead please make a donation in Ronnie’s name to Holy Family Church.
