Rebeca Ann Roberts

Rebecca “Beckie” Ann Roberts, 72 of Needville went home to be with her Lord & Savior on March 2, 2019. She was born the second of four daughters to Sid & Moira Ward of Rosenberg on December 9, 1946. Beckie attended school at LCISD & would help her parents and sisters with work at their restaurant Ward’s Dairy Barn. “Mimi”, as her grandchildren affectionately called her, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. She will forever be remembered for her eccentric style, her love for cooking, Mardi Gras, the beach, her family, friends & the Lord. In addition to her parents, Beckie is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Roberts; son Wade Dannhaus; Brother-in-law Larry Wix; and nephew Michael Wix. Survivors include her son Loren “Bunk” Dannhaus; grandchildren Christen, Cade, Cale, Tyler and Gavin Dannhaus; sisters Mary Jane Wix, Linda (Bill) Knesek, Beverlie (Bennie) Pollock; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members along with best friends Mary Bean and Elvina Loehr.
