Pat Dierschke, 88, of East Bernard, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at her residence. She was born on June 11, 1937, in the small community of Cass, Arkansas to the late Carl Clifton and Alta Kelly Eversole.
Being raised the daughter of an oil field worker, Pat moved often in her early life, living in Arkansas, Boling, Texas and various places before settling in the East Bernard area in 1973.She married Daniel Joe Stavinoha on August 30, 1954, in Wharton. Pat was a homemaker and worked at Savon Drugs in East Bernard for 2 or 3 years. Daniel Joe, Sr. passed away on September 24, 1989. Pat enjoyed being with her friends at dances, being in the Garden Club, the church choir and helping with the bereavement committee. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St Bernadette #1108 of East Bernard since 1976. She was very active and held the prestigious honor of perfect attendance for many years. Love was introduced into her life once again and she married James Dierschke on September 22, 2018. They enjoyed their years together. In addition to her parents and the father of her children, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Lovell, brothers Bob and John Eversole and good friend, Ernestine Brom from Eagle Lake.
Pat is survived by her husband, James Dierschke, daughter, Linda K Rosniak and husband, Lawrence, sons, Daniel “Danny” Stavinoha, Jr. and wife Natalie, and Craig Stavinoha and wife, Mary, all of East Bernard, sister, Carolyn Parker of Belton, grandchildren, Laina Rosniak, Carl Stavinoha, Barrett Stavinoha, Whitney Zimmerman and husband, Jacob, Danielle Darr and husband, Joseph, and Zachary Stavinoha and wife, Haleigh, and great granddaughter, Allison “Allie” with one more on the way.
In honor of Pat the pallbears are Carl Stavinoha, Zachary Stavinoha, Jacob Zimmerman, Joseph Darr, Jeremy Lindemann and John Eversole, Jr.
Visitation will be held after 9 am on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with rosary recited at 9:30 am and the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal at 10 am, with Father Charles Elvis Otsiwah celebrating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.
