Patricia Goodwin

Patricia Goodwin, 78, of Hungerford, TX  passed away at her residence following a lengthy illness on September 13, 2018. She was born on August 16, 1940 in Wharton, Texas to the late William a and Urline Pack Krenek.   Pat was raised in Houston and graduated from Austin High School. She married Charles Goodwin on September 16, 1961. Pat worked as a secretary for many years for the state of Texas. Pat and Charles enjoyed traveling and visited 39 of the 50 states. Pat was also very involved with her grandchildren, going to numerous sporting events all over the state.    She is survived by her husband of almost  57 years, Charles Goodwin of Hungerford, sons, Scott Goodwin of Richmond and Brad Goodwin and wife, La of Hungerford, sisters, Janice Mc Leod of Stafford and Ellen Clayton and husband, Robert of Richmond, and her precious grandchildren, Joshua Goodwin, Adam Goodwin, Hunter Goodwin and Lauren Goodwin, and many friends and extended family.   Prior to cremation, visitation was held at Wharton Funeral Home on the evening of Friday, September 14, 2018.   Services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com
