Meagan Kathleen Macek

Meagan Kathleen Macek, 34, of Conroe and formerly of Boling, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at her home following a sudden illness.  She was born on December 22, 1984 to Donald Macek and Gail Anderson Ashworth.

Meagan was raised in the Boling area and was a graduate of Sweeney High School.  She graduated from UTSA with a certification as a Dental Assistant.  Meagan loved to play Candy Crush and binge watch Netflix.  She enjoyed life and loved her family.  She never met a stranger and enjoyed doing things for others. She loved her cat, Patches.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Billy “Sonny”, Billye Sue “Honey” Anderson and Joe “Popo” & Adeline “Memaw” Macek and her uncles, Dale Anderson and Ronald Macek.

She is survived by her mother, Gail Anderson Ashworth and husband, Eric Ashworth; father, Donald Macek; brother: Matthew Macek and girlfriend, Sarah Soto; aunts: Karen Anderson Gless and husband Kelly Gless, Gayla Shimek and husband Ronnie Shimek; uncle: Thom Anderson; cousins: Cameron Anderson, Kelsey Shimek Folmar and husband Kendan Folmar and Eleanor Folmar, Kyle Shimek and fiancé Helen Camarillo, Lisa Anderson, Leslie Coerver, Lana Davis, Morgan Estrada and Kade Estrada; great aunt and uncle Hershel and Kathy Cain, Marvin and Brenda Macek and Frank and Evelyn Kramr along with close friends, John and Valencia Chrisman, Andrew Deason, Emma Collins, Jarred Sheffield, Jessica Lane Murphy and Susan Barber.

Following cremation, the family with hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.  

Donations may be made to the ALS Foundation in memory of her uncle, Dale Anderson.
