Mary Joan Wagoner

Mary Joan Wagoner, 93, of Wharton passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Mary was born on June 12, 1932, in Bremond, Texas to the late Lidge Warhol and Rose Galick Warhol.

Mary is survived by her devoted daughter, Debra Petrash and husband, David of Wharton, and her cherished grandchildren, Nick Petrash, Mark Warhol, and Tammy Warhol. Her legacy will forever live on in their hearts, as well as in the countless lives she touched throughout her journey.In her professional life, Mary made significant contributions while working in electronics at Halliburton. Her dedication and work ethic were evident in everything she did, reflecting her strong spirit and resilience. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E Wagoner and her sons, Floyd Warhol and Jimmy Sutton.

Graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery took place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Mary Joan Wagoner will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Mary.
