Mary Ellen Oballe passed into the arms of the Lord surrounded by her loving family on September 23, 2021, in a Sugarland Hospital, she was 48.  Mary Ellen was born on April 19, 1973, to Theresa Matula and Harold White in Wharton.  On March 3, 1998, Mary married the love of her life Daniel Oballe in Wharton.

Mary was raised in Wharton, but has been a resident of Needville since 2005.  Her family fondly remembers her for her passion for cooking.  She is survived by her husband Daniel, her parents Harold and Theresa White of Wharton, her daughters Melanie Rodriguez (Marcus Guajardo) of Boling and Marissa White of Wallis.  She is also survived by her siblings Kristina Petree and her husband Justin of Temple, Paul White of Wharton, William White and his wife Michelle ofTennessee and her grandchildren Mason Guajardo, Max Guajardo and Jessiah Trevino.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday September 30^th from 5-7 P.M. at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy.  Rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M.  Interment will be private.
