Mario Alberto Martinez

Mario Alberto Martinez, age 34, of Boling, Texas passed away on January 25, 2026, in Hondo. He was born on August 27, 1991, in Mexico to Jesus Alberto Martinez and Anjelica Maria Berrones Martinez.

Mario was raised in Boling and attended Wharton schools. He enjoyed working on cars, riding his motorcycle and looking at classic Cadillacs. Mario was a fun-loving youth and had many friends. He worked various jobs at several grass farms in the area for many years.

He is survived by his daughters, Jenessa and Makaylah Martinez, the mother of his children, Jennifer Taylor, mother, Anjelica Maria Berrones Martinez, father, Jesus Alberto Martinez, sisters, Dolce Martinez, Jessica Martinez, Ailyne Martinez, brothers, Jesus Martinez, Omar Martinez, Julian Martinez and Angel Martinez, and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Wharton Funeral Home after 12 noon with a service to follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Boling.
