Maria Flores DeMorales, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a dedicated homemaker, who departed from this world on May 13, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on March 15, 1932, in El Sabino, Mexico, to the late Donaciano Flores and Matilde Rodriguez.

Maria's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love, laughter, and creativity. As a devoted housewife, she took immense joy in sewing and crocheting, crafting beautiful pieces that will be treasured by her family for generations to come. She found solace and happiness tending to her birds and nurturing her plants, filling her home with beauty and life that mirrored her vibrant spirit. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Emma Morales and her son, Rogelio Morales.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Guillermina Morales, Christina Morales, Esmerelda Morales, Irma Morales, Carmen Morales, Santa Morales, Marisol Morales and Rosario Martinez; her devoted sons, Ismael Morales, Abel Morales, and Francisco Morales; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. They will remember their mother not only for her skills and passions but for the warmth and kindness that she shared with everyone she met.

A visitation will be held at Wharton Funeral Home on Sunday, May 17, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Father Antonio Perez officiating. A Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery in Wharton, Tx.

María Flores DeMorales, una amada madre, abuela y bisabuela, y una dedicada ama de casa, partió de este mundo el 13 de mayo de 2026, a la edad de 94 años. Nació el 15 de marzo de 1932 en El Sabino, México, hija de los difuntos Donaciano Flores y Matilde Rodríguez.

La vida de María fue un vibrante tapiz tejido con amor, risas y creatividad. Como devota ama de casa, encontraba una inmensa alegría en la costura y el tejido a crochet, creando hermosas piezas que serán atesoradas por su familia durante las generaciones venideras. Encontraba consuelo y felicidad cuidando de sus aves y cultivando sus plantas, llenando su hogar de una belleza y una vitalidad que reflejaban su propio espíritu vibrante. Además de sus padres, le precedieron en la muerte su hija, Emma Morales, y su hijo, Rogelio Morales.

Le sobreviven sus amorosas hijas: Guillermina Morales, Christina Morales, Esmerelda Morales, Irma Morales, Carmen Morales, Santa Morales, Marisol Morales y Rosario Martinez; sus devotos hijos: Ismael Morales, Abel Morales y Francisco Morales; junto con numerosos nietos, bisnietos y sobrinos. Se llevará a cabo un velorio en la Funeraria Wharton el domingo 17 de mayo de 2026, comenzando a las 5:00 p. m., con el rezo del Rosario a las 6:00 p.m. Se celebrará una Misa Fúnebre el lunes 18 de mayo de 2026, a las 10:00 a. m., en la Iglesia Católica Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, oficiada por el Padre Antonio Pérez. A continuación, se realizará el rito de sepelio y el entierro en el Cementerio Peach Creek, en Wharton, Texas.
