Margarita Delgado, 66, of Wharton, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her residence in Wharton. She was born on August 9, 1957, in Kendleton to the late Jesus and Seferina Silva Delgado, Sr.

 Margie was raised in Kendleton and attended Powell Point School. She worked at Ross department store and at Gayla in East Bernard. Margie was always the caretaker of her parents, providing loving care to them in their later years. She was known as a Bingo Queen, enjoyed going to casinos and road trips with her sisters. She loved saying the rosary and prayer time, decorating for Christmas and watching Bluey with her grandson, Santino Rey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maria Del Carmen Luna, and brothers, Augustine Delgado and Ramon Delgado.

 Margie is survived by her daughter, Monica Montalbo, grandson, Santino Rey, sisters, Juanita Montalbo, Maria Guadalupe Delgado, and Cecilia Delgado, brothers, Anton Delgado, Simon Delgado, John Delgado, Vicente Delgado, Jesus Delgado, Jr, Jose Luis Delgado, Jose Daniel Delgado and Pedro Delgado.

 Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, after 6pm at Wharton Funeral Home with a rosery recited at 7pm. Funeral mass and rite of committal will be on Saturday, June 22, 2024. at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wharton.
