Leon Dailey Krushall, Jr.

November 10, 1942 — August 10, 2020

On November 10, 1942, born into the world, a child named Leon Dailey Krushall, Jr. was to his earthly father, Leon Dailey Krushall, Sr. and his earthly mother, Theo Gartha Krushall.  He was the 2nd child born into a very close-knit family.,

 

He grew up in the Baptist Church then was added to Church of Christ at an early age.  Leon was determined to live his life according to the Will of God and God Blessed him with wisdom and understanding. (Proverbs 3:13)

 

He graduated from Boling High School in May of 1961.  Next  year he went to Texas Southern University taking Aviation Tech.  Later in his life helping his father in the trucking business.  Leon and Lola married in 1961 until death.

 

He was preceded in death by his earthly parents, Leon Dailey Krushall, Sr. and Theo Gartha Krushall; his “son” Dimetre Krushall, “daughter” Peggy Marie Krushall, his brothers Ronnie Krushall, Walter Krushall, his sisters: Barbara Jean Randall, Sharon Krushall.

 

Leon leaves to cherish his memory, his lovely wife of 59 years, Lola Marie Krushall; daughters, Cassandra Shanelle Krushall of California, Tiffany Krushall-Ellis (Cedric) of Missouri City; brothers, Donald Ray Krushall, Larry Krushall, Brandon Krushall; 1 sister, Jacqueline ”Jackie” Greenwood, grandchildren, Andrew Martinez Krushall, Teana Ellis, Taji Ellis, Cedric Ellis II, Donte Anderson (Chantal) and Darnell Anderson; great grandchildren, Jacoby Ellis, Aubrey Krushall, Don’ya Anderson, Da’Kayla Anderson, Donte’ Anderson and Da’ Kiiyah Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

 

Viewing will begin at 11 a.m. at Wharton Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Bros. Joiner and Clifford Jackson officiating.  A burial will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery in Wharton, Tx.

 

Repass will be held at the Wharton Civic Center, Fulton St. Wharton,TX.

 

Funeral Services are under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com
