Kaitlyn Christine Kurtz, of Houston, passed on August 30, 2026, at the age of 27. She was born on September 13, 1998, in Houston, Texas.
Kaitlyn graduated from Cy Fair High School in 2017 and went on to build a caring and purposeful path in healthcare. She worked as a telemetry technician for five years at Memorial Herman in the Woodlands and was attending Lonestar College as she pursued her nursing degree. Her dedication reflected a desire to care for others and create a meaningful future through compassion and hard work.
She lived with energy, style, and a spirit that drew people in. A country girl at heart, Kaitlyn loved music and had a playful sense of humor, especially when it came to roasting the people she loved. She enjoyed pampering herself by getting her lashes and nails done, and she found happiness in shopping, traveling, and going on cruises. She loved going to concerts and dancing, watching the Astros, and had a fondness for Chevy trucks. Above all, she will always be remembered for her contagious laugh and radiant smile, gifts that brightened the lives of those around her.
Kaitlyn is survived by her parents, Chris and Donna Kurtz; her brothers, Kevin (Cameo) and Connor; her loving boyfriend, Nick and her lifelong companion Bandit. She also leaves behind many cherished memories in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sonny, Emma, BoBo, and Noni, and by her uncles, Mike and Garry.
