Julian Flores III

Julian Flores III Julian Flores, III, 57, of East Bernard, passed away on September 27, 2023, at his residence in East Bernard surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 10, 1966 in Eagle Lake, Texas. Julian was raised in Eagle Lake. He was active in the Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Rice Consolidated High School in 1984. He later graduated from the police academy and became a law enforcement officer in 1988. He worked for several departments over the years including Kendelton, Houston and the Eagle Lake Police Department. Julian was talented in many areas including air conditrioning and auto mechanics. He loved watching the Texans, going fishing, sight seeing, and pawn shopping for treasures. He was known to have a heart of gold and was always helping others. Julian was also a member of the Los Vacqueros Trail Riders. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents/ parents, Julian and Esperanza Amaro Flores, Sr. Julian is survived by his wife, Christina Muniz Flores, stepson, Sargent Christopher Michael, parents, Julian Flores, Jr. and wife Doris and mother Benilde Castillo, sisters, Julie Ann Flores Garcia and husband, Santiago of Rosenberg, Hortencia Guerrero of Eagle Lake and Oralia Torres of Eagle Lake,stepsister Rhonda Perez and husband David, brothers, Joseph D Gonzales and wife, Irene of Austin, Joshua Romo of LaPort, Justin Flores of Eagle Lake, and Arthur Flores and wife, Pat of Eagle Lake,stepbrother John Hodde and wife Jessica of Eagle Lake, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Tamara Washington from Hospice Plus for taking care of our loved one. Visitation will be held after 10 am on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Wharton Funeral Home in Wharton Tx. Rosary will be recited at 12:30 pm and a Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm also at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home Wharton Texas 77488. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake.
