Judy Flores Garcia

Judy Garcia, 52, of Wharton passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in a Houston hospital. She was born on January 13, 1972, in El Campo, to the late Manuel and Josephine Torres Flores.

 Judy was raised in the Spanish Camp area and graduated from El Campo High School. She married Francisco Ortiz. Judy enjoyed helping students at Sivells Elem for many years. She loved making people laugh, visiting with her friends and being with her family. She always had a smile on her face. Judy was always one to step up and help anyone in need.

 Judy is survived by her loving husband, Francisco Ortiz, sons, Francisco Ortiz, Jr. and Miguel Ortiz, sisters, Belinda Flores and Melinda Flores and brother, Manuel Flores, Jr.

 Visitation for Judy Flores Garcia will begin on Saturday at 11 am at Mount Carmel Catholic Church with a rosary at 1130 and Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Glen Flora Cemetery in Crescent.
