Joshua James Madore

Joshua James Madore, age 48, of Wharton, TX, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Wharton. He was born on July 21, 1977, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, to Catherine (Adrian) Zissa and William Madore. 

Joshua grew up as a military brat, moving among military installations every three years, and graduated from Hannibal High School in Missouri in 1995. He had an upbeat personality and never met a stranger. He was fun to be around and had an awesome sense of adventure. He loved spending time with his family & was the favorite, “fun” uncle to all of his nieces & nephews. 

Surviving Joshua are his mother, Catherine Zissa; father, William Madore; his sister, Kimberly Sanders and her husband, Justin; his brother, William “Bill” Madore and his wife, Jennifer; his nieces and nephews, Brittani, Lauren, Zachary, Madison, and Adrian; several great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, & cousins. 

A life celebration will be held at a later date for his family & friends in Hannibal, MO.
