Josephine R. Gonzales, 85, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Oak Bend Hospital in Richmond at the age of 85 years She was born to Louise Ramirez and Ester Driscolle on September 15, 1936. On March 26, 1980 she married the love of her life, Lianso Gonzales.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Xavier Renee Gonzales, Jamis Partida and Frank Partida, 3 daughters, Sara Duragan, Mercedes Partida and Johna Edwards, 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

 

Josephine Gonzales was a loving mother to her children. Her family was her greatest accomplishment. She loved the outdoors and was always found working in her flower garden and mowing her yard. But most of all, she loved to sit by the water and fish.

She gave her heart and was genuine in all she did. She will be remembered for her loving heart by all who knew her.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10 am at Wharton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
