Joseph Miller Eldridge
Joseph Eldridge, 67, passed away on September 14, 2021 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Wharton, Tx on January 16, 1954 to the late Joseph Geraldine Kemp Eldridge.
Joseph graduated from Boling High School. He later served our country honorably in the United States Army. He married Paula Jones in December 1978 in Alvin Texas. Joseph worked as a dispatcher for McAda Drilling for over 40 years, retiring in 2021. He enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and watching military movies on tv. He was known as a loving father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Eldridge Stavinoha, nephew John David Newman and great niece Taylor Allie.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Eldridge of Wharton, daughters, Jennifer Sue Eldridge and husband Alberto Hidalgo, Piper Presley Eldridge, son, Joseph Hamilton Eldridge and wife, Kim Wingo all of Boling, sister, Rebecca Faye Conerley and husband, Ted of Kerrville, and grandchildren, Summer Wright, Tristan Wright, Savannah Wright and Madison Wright, Morgan and Anna Eldridge great grandchildren, Rider Eldridge, Andrew Luera, Marih Luera and Kenny Luera with one more on the way.
A memorial service will be held at a later at J’s Corner in Burr.
