José Luis Gómez, Jr. pasó a los brazos del Señor el viernes 5 de Marzo de 2021 en un hospital en Webster, TX. Nació el 7 de Noviembre de 1962 en Mission, TX de Francisca Barrera y el fallecido José Luis Gómez, Sr. José residió durante mucho tiempo en Wharton y trabajó en King Ranch Grass Farm como mecánico. Creció en Mission, TX antes de mudarse a Wharton. Según su familia, José disfrutó de la barbacoa, tocar su guitarra y cantar, bailar y fue descrito con cariño como siempre un gran trabajador. Le sobreviven su esposa Siria Osario Gómez, su hija Patricia Gómez, seis nietos y sus hermanas y hermanos que residen en Mission. Los familiares y amigos están invitados a su visita el Martes 9 de marzo de 5-8 p.m. y nuevamente el Miércoles 10 de marzo de 9 a 2 p.m. en Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy. El rosario se rezará a las 7:00 p.m. el martes. El servicio religioso comenzará a las 2 pm el miércoles. El sepelio será en Valley Memorial Gardens en Mission, TX el viernes, 12 de Marzo a las 3 de la tarde.. He was born on November 7, 1962 in Mission, TX to Francisca Barrera and the late Jose Luis Gomez, Sr. Jose was a longtime resident of Wharton and worked at the King Ranch Grass Farm as a mechanic. He grew up in Mission, TX before moving to Wharton . According to his family, Jose enjoyed to BBQ, play his guitar and sing, dance and was fondly described as always being a hard worker. He is survived by wife Siria Osario Gomez, his daughter Patricia Gomez, six grandchildren and his sisters and brothers who reside in Mission. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday March 9th 5-8 P.M. and again on Wednesday March 10th from 9-2 P.M. at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday. Religious service will begin at 2pm on Wednesday.
