Jean Marie Macha

Jean Marie Macha, born on November 15, 1947, in Wichita, Kansas, left this world on March 8, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Jean was a devoted homemaker for the last 20 years and owned an upholstery business, where she expressed her creativity and skill, leaving a lasting impact on the community she served.

Her kind heart and warm personality drew those around her closer, and her love for spending time with family shone brightly in everything she did. Whether it was a quiet afternoon spent fishing or gathering with her family during holidays, Jean cherished each moment spent with her loved ones.

Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Charlie Macha, and their sons: Royce Macha and wife Marsha of Wallis, TX; Ricky Macha and wife Sherri of Wallis, TX; Gary Macha and wife Alicia of Conroe, TX; and Kevin Macha and wife Pam of Pawnee, IL. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Matthew Macha; Ashley Gerke and husband Kody; Greg Macha and wife Caitlin; Colton Macha and wife Briana; Clayton Macha and wife Shelby; Dustin Hughes and wife Daphne; Caleb Fairfield and wife Taylor; Noah Durr and wife Angel and Reagan Schriber and husband Cody, along with her grandsons Caden Macha and great grandchildren Aubrey, Keagan, Elizabeth, Athena, Maverick, Maddix, Everly, Gage, and Marybeth, who brought immense joy to her life.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Junior Lewis; her mother, Evelyn Coop Lewis; her brother, Elmer Dean Lewis; and her beloved grandson, Connor Macha. Their memories will forever be etched in her family’s hearts.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Jean’s life during the visitation on March 16, 2026, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis, TX, beginning at 9:00 AM. A Prayer Service will follow at 9:30 AM, leading to the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Following the service, Jean will be laid to rest at the Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery at 11:00 AM.Jean Marie Macha will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle spirit, and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind.
