Glenn Daniel Naskrent

August 3, 1953 — June 5, 2020

Glenn Daniel Naskrent, 66, of Boling, peacefully passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, at his residence.  Glenn was born, August 3, 1953 in Houston, Texas to Clarine Boenisch Naskrent and Steve Naskrent.  

 

Glenn was raised in southeast Houston where he attended Mt. Carmel Elementary and Sterling High School.   He was raised in the Catholic Faith.  Glenn was a member of the Millwright Local Union 2232 and worked as a millwright in many towns and for numerous businesses in southeast Houston.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing dominoes with family, gardening, raising chickens, cooking and relaxing by the campfire.

 

Glenn is survived by his mother, Clarine Naskrent; daughters, Kimberly Spacek (James), and Angela Andress (Rod), son, Glenn  Naskrent, Jr.; sisters, Donna Welmaker (Ben), Theresa Enax (Mark), Elaine Hand (Bernie), Joyce Pelton (Mike) and Norma Butcher (Kyle); grandchildren Amanda Spacek, Hunter Spacek, Randy Jones, Jr., Kody Hargrave, Chelsea Jones, and Sidney Thompson;  great grandchildren, Magnolia Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.   

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Naskrent,  Faye Keller, his partner in life for 24 years and Sterling Jones his great granddaughter .

 

Memorial services will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2 pm at Wharton Funeral Home.
