George Kocian, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, left this world on July 4, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on January 7, 1950, in Wharton, Texas to the late Emanuel Kocian and Lottie Bujnoch Kocian.
A dedicated machinist by trade, George was well-respected in his profession. However, it was his vibrant personality and enduring commitment to his community that truly defined him. His love for his family ran deep, and he was always present to cheer on his son and grandchildren at their baseball and softball games, where their talents shone bright.
In his cherished moments at the family farm, George relished the simple pleasures of life, visiting with his brothers and enjoying quiet rides through the country and picturesque hill country, particularly in the beloved New Braunfels area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, C.J. Kocian, Leroy Kocian, Sr., Emanuel Kocian and wife Betty; Brother-in-law, Floyd Gulling, and sister Leona Boone and husband Henry, and brother-in-law Willie Machicek.
