George Frank Fojtik

George F. Fojtik July 26th 1942 ~ December 16th 2023 George F. Fojtik, 81, also known as Jr., went to be with our Lord peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2023. George was born to George and Beatrice Fojtik on July 26, 1942, in East Bernard, TX. George was the oldest of 5 children. George is survived by his wife, Margaret Fojtik, and their children, Roxanne Reinecker, along with husband Bradley, and Rachel Lynn Manna, along with husband Dennis. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Morgan Reinecker and Fiancé Taylor Machicek, Braden Reinecker, Cody Manna, and Kendall Manna. George is survived by his siblings Jeanette Michalcik, James Fojtik (wife Evelyn), and his baby sister Cynthia Meitzen (husband Bill); his In-Laws Pat and Daniel Pless, Sharie Stelzel, and Theresa Thigpen; along with numerous Nieces and Nephews, including his Niece Heidi whom was a third daughter to him. He is also survived by a wonderful family friend whom he loved and who loved him, Pat Wilson. Preceding him in death were his parents, his parents-in-law, his sister Mary Ann Tater, brothers-in-law Wayne Tater, Ervin Michalcik, and Harvey Stelzel, Jr, along with his nephews Rodney Michalcik and Danny Pless. George was raised on Bernard Prairie before joining the National Guard. George loved traveling the roads by truck driving, he raised cattle, enjoyed hunting, loved old time country music, and dancing the night away. George met Margaret at a Wedding Dance in 1960 and they were married on June 4th of 1966. They have celebrated 57 years of marriage and 63 years of togetherness. George was known for being an easy going, fun loving guy who never met a stranger. He will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 28th 2023 at 10am at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy Wharton TX 77488 Funeral services were under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
