Ella Mae Seydler

Ella Mae Seydler   Ella Mae Seydler, 94, of East Bernard, TX passed away Monday evening, July 16, 2018 at an Eagle Lake nursing center. She was born on October 26, 1923 in Raine, Louisiana,  a daughter of the late Walter and Genevieve Bordes Hensley. Ella Mae and her family moved to the East Bernard area in the late 1920’s.  She graduated from East Bernard High School. On July 31, 1942, she married Richard Warren Seydler in Wharton. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2003. Together they operated a Dairy farm for many years. In the 60s and 70s, Ella Mae operated a flower shop out of her house, suppling flowers for many weddings and special events. She enjoyed painting, raising cattle and loved life. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leland and Harold Hensley. She is survived by her daughters, Geneva Viaclovsky and husband, Patrick of East Bernard and Margaret Wall and husband, Johnny of Chandler AZ, and son, Harry Seydler and wife, Nancy of East Bernard, sister, Joyce Womack of Deer Park, grandchildren, Gina Alexander, Brady Seydler, Vanessa Vera and Scott Wall with great grandchildren, Abby, Aaron, Tyra, Bra’Shae, Issac, Lane, Logan and Gabby, along with numerous friends.             Following cremation, private family graveside services will be held at a later date.   Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com.
