Donna Darlene Rejsek, age 76, of East Bernard, Texas passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at her home. She was born on June 21, 1949, in Baytown to the late Donald Holloway and Mary McCarty Bright.
Donna moved often in her younger years, settling in the Sugarland area after attending Madison High School. She then graduated from Cosmetology school, obtained her license and began working at Murrile’s Barber Shop doing hairstyles for men and women. She later opened her own beauty shop at her home, Rejsek Scissor Shack.
While attending a dance at Riverside Hall, she met her husband, Frank Rejsek. They were married on January 27, 1973. They celebrated 53 years together this year. Donna loved fishing, going any chance, she could get. She was very talented doing arts, crafts and woodworking. She also enjoyed crocheting and made many baby blankets for those she loved. She loved children, especially her two granddaughters who called her “Boom Boom”. She will always be remembered by her granddaughters for her “grab-bags’” that were full of toys every time she saw them. One of her favorite things to do with them was making homemade chocolate chip cookies. She was a devoted Christ follower and often gave Bibles away to many people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Spann, of Arlington.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Rejsek of East Bernard; daughter, Holly Batdorf and husband, Mark of Mansfield; son, Frank Casey Rejsek and wife, Michelle of Wallis; sister, Heidi Poole of Kingman, Az; brother, Derwood Holloway; granddaughters, Kaidyn Batdorf and Addisyn Batdorf, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Wharton Funeral Home starting at 5:00 p.m. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Nancy Smith Cemetery in Glen Rose Texas.
