 Delia Campos Guevara passed into the arms of the lord on May 3, 2022 at a Houston hospital.  She was born on March 7, 1949 to the late Marcos Campos and Hortencia Esquivel Campos in New Gulf, TX.

Delia grew up and went to school in the Wharton area, and in 1968 married the love of her life Jose ‘Joe’ Angel Guevara, Sr. in Wharton, TX.  Together they raised their 9 children in Palacios.  Her family will fondly remember her for her love of crocheting, making keychain beads, playing on her I-pad but her true love was spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Delia is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Joe Guevera, Sr. of Palacios, her children Jose Guevara, Jr. of Houston, Raymond Guevara of Palacios, Michelle Goodall and her husband Cory of El Campo, Michael Guevara and his wife Betty of El Campo, Juan Guevara and his wife Amanda of Bay City, Amanda Rodriguez and her husband Johnny of Palacios, Manuel Guevara of Palacios, David Guevara and his wife Amy of Palacios & Daniel Guevara and his wife Amanda of Palacios.  She is also survived by her sisters Linda Campos and Rachel Cisneros, her brothers Joe Campos, Marcos Campos, Jr., Cecil Campos, 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday May 6^th from 5-8 P.M. and again on Saturday May 7^th from 9-11am at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy.  Funeral service to begin at 12pm at Living Word Church 1405 Cr 317 12th St, Palacios, TX 77465. Interment to follow at Palacios Cemetery.
