Daniel Rocha, Jr. June 27, 1972 ~ April 18, 2022 Daniel Rocha, Jr. passed away on Monday April 18th at a Sugar Land hospital following a brief illness. He was born on June 27, 1972 in Fresno, CA to the Daniel Rocha, Sr., and Julia Zuniga Rocha. Daniel grew up in the Mission area and attended schools there. He married Maria Gonzalez in 1992. Daniel worked in the poultry industry for many years. He loved fishing, playing with his grandchildren and “getting on his childrens nerves.” He was preceded in death by his sister, Dilma Zuniga. He is survived by his parents, Daniel Rocha, Sr, and Julia Rocha, wife, Maria Rocha, daughters, Mona Lisa Owens and husband, Michael and Lizette Rocha and husband, Salvador Diaz all of Wharton, sisters, Sara Ramos and husband, Manuel, Mona Lisa Rocha, and Gloria Rocha, brothers, Marcos Rocha and wife, Maria and Cayetano Ovalle and his precious grandchildren, Isaac Diaz, Evelyn Steen and Vincent Owens. Relatives are invited to his viewing on Saturday April 23th from 10-2 P.M. at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy., Wharon.
