Cynthia Talas Cavness Pietzsch   Cynthia Pietzsch, 62, of East Bernard, TX passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at a Sugar Land hospital following a sudden illness. She was born on December 2, 1955 in Wharton, a daughter of the late Edward Louis Talas Sr. and Lillie Coufal Talas.   Cynthia began her education at Holy Cross Catholic School and completed her education at East Bernard Schools. She worked for WKM and continued working at Murphy Co, Dorian Tool and Leedo Cabinetry. She enjoyed watching the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. Cynthia was very adept at playing Moon, never wanting to miss a good game of dominoes. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Dennis Pietzsch of East Bernard, son, Chris Cavness of East Bernard, daughter, Ashley Ivy and husband, Taylor of Hungerford, brother Edward L Talas, Jr. and wife, Jenny of East Bernard, grandchildren, Kirsten Cavness and Jaxton Ivy. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.             Visitation will begin on Saturday, September 29, 2018 after 12 noon at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2 pm at Wharton Funeral Home with Jody Kalinowski officiating . Burial will be in East Bernard Methodist Cemetery in East Bernard. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Cavness, Jarrod Cavness, Nick Henry, James Ressler, Jason Talas, and Joey Talas.     Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com.
