Claudia Wilcox

Claudia Wilcox, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on October 5, 2025, at the age of 83. Born at home in Waller County, Texas on July 7, 1942, to the late Claud Jones and Ada Clepper Jones.

Claudia will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the love she poured into her family. Her joy in life was evident in the countless hours spent with her grandchildren, where her laughter and nurturing spirit created an atmosphere filled with love and happiness. Whether she was sewing beautiful creations or tending to her flower-filled yard, Claudia approached every task with passion and care, often finding beauty and joy in the simplest of moments. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Earlene Light, Katy Toups and Ruby Durant; brothers Bill Jones, Wade Jones, Clelon Jones, C.J. Jones, Adrian Jones and Henry Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Shelton and husband, Guy of Lane City and Kelly Marek and husband, Kevin of Wallis, her son, William "Bubba" Wilcox and wife, Becky of East Bernard, sister, Geraldine Riels, grandchildren, Brooke Domel and husband, Jody, William Wilcox, Jr. and wife, Taelor, Justin Wilcox and wife, Megan, Tanee Young and husband, Kory, Britany Stock and husband, Aaron, Austin Shelton and Kaylee Landrum, great grandchildren, Ty Domel, Reagan Domel, Avery Wilcox, Gemma Wilcox, Peyton Sliva, Jackson Wilcox, Judd Wilcox, Ellasyn Miliff, Briggs Wilcox, Stockton Young, Rustyn Young, Tinley Stock, Tripp Stock, Todd Stock and London Hawes, Boston Lake, and Rawlins Lake. Claudia's infectious spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church in East Bernard on October 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM, also at the First United Methodist Church of East Bernard with Rev. Mak Percival officiating. Following the service, she will be entombed at Holy Cross Mausoleum in East Bernard, Texas.
