Bartolo Guevara Sr., a beloved member of his family and community, passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on September 24, 1945, in Glen Flora, Bartolo dedicated over 30 years of his life to his career a Lead Supervisor, earning respect and admiration from his colleagues and peers.
Bartolo was a man of many passions. He found immense joy in gardening and spending time outdoors, relishing moments spent fishing with his family. His love for woodworking reflected his creativity and craftsmanship, and he took great pride in his cabinetry business. Above all, Bartolo cherished his role as a grandfather, a title that brought him profound happiness and pride throughout his life.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Alicia Andrade, and their loving family, which includes their daughter Corinna Pena and her husband Mark of Wharton, Texas, and their son Bartolo Guevara Jr. of Wharton, Texas. His legacy also continues through his two sons, Richard Guevara and his wife Norma of El Paso, Texas, and Adam Guevara and his wife Margaret. He is further survived by his sister, Cruz Perez, who shares fond memories of their time together.
Bartolo is predeceased by his father, Margarito Guevara, his mother, Sofia Chavera Guevara, and his son David Guevara. Their absence will leave a void in the hearts of those who loved him.
A memorial service to honor Bartolo's life will be held on October 12, 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 11:00 a.m. As family and friends gather to celebrate his life, they will remember his unwavering love and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind. Bartolo Guevara Sr. will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
