Avia Ann Daigle

Avia Ann Daigle passed into the arms of the Lord, on her 79^th birthday, January 11, 2022.  She was born in Jennings, LA to the late Marion and Anna (Benoit) Bertrand.

On February 8, 1963, Avia married the love of her life Gene Daigle in Jennings, LA and together they raised a son and a daughter.  Avia was a longtime resident of East Bernard, TX.  Before her retirement, Avia worked many years caring for people in the medical field as a nurse.  Her family fondly remembers her as loving to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking.

Avia is survived by her son Mark Daigle and wife, Dana of East Bernard, her daughter Brandie Kelso and husband, Kurt of East Bernard.  Four grandchildren Kourtney Kelso and her fiancée Carson, Kyle Kelso, Hannah Muzik and husband, Miles and Jenna Daigle. Besides her parents, Avia is also preceded in death by her husband Gene Daigle and her brother Marvin Bertrand.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday January 14^th after 9:30 A.M. at Holy Cross Church, East Bernard.  Rosary to be recited at 10:30 A.M. with her funeral Mass to begin at 11:00 A.M.  Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
