Amelia Grace

With heavy hearts yet fond memories, we celebrate the life of our beloved Amelia Grace, who passed into the arms of Jesus on April 8, 2024, in Houston, TX. Born in Richmond, TX, on February 27, 2019, she brought joy and laughter to her family from the very start.

Amelia, a spirited young soul brought a sparkle to every room she entered. Her family, including her doting parents, Rosie and Romeo Flores, her cherished siblings, April, Annalia, and Arabela; grandparents, Maria Martinez, Veronica Rosa and Guadalupe Vasquez will forever hold her close in their hearts.  Her aunts and uncles, Jesse Merino, Cesilia Chavero, Miranda Chavero, Jacob Vasquez, Elijah Flores, Antonio Flores, Jr., Cayman Flores, Brittany Vasquez, Valerie Vasquez, and Eliana Flores along with multiple cousins, close friends and staff from the hospitals during her multiple stays. Waiting for her in Heaven along with Jesus, were her grandfather, Juan Chavero, and her aunt, Joane Chavero.

A Heart Warrior who faced life's challenges with bravery and grace, Amelia will be remembered for her infectious smile and kind spirit. Her passion for princesses and unicorns illuminated the lives of all who knew her.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember her on Monday, April 15, 2024 starting at 5 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home with a Prayer service at 6:30 p.m. A Celebration of Amelia's remarkable journey will be held on a Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Wharton Funeral Home Chapel. In her memory, let us cherish the moments we shared with Amelia and hold onto the love she left behind.

Though she may be physically gone, Amelia's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. May she rest in peace and may her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
