Clara Rachunek Kostka

Clara (Rachunek) Kostka 93, long-time resident of Wharton, passed away July 2, 2017. She was the eldest of 12 born April 13, 1924 in Hungerford, TX to the late Frank & Mary Rachunek. Clara married Edwin Kostka on Sept 15, 1942. Clara was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton, and St. John’s Church in Hungerford. She was a Charter Member of Holy Family’s Catholic Daughters. Funeral mass was held at Holy Family on July 5. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ed, and 6 of her siblings. She is survived by her children and their spouses, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
